If you have Norton Anti-virus and it has expired, you need to remove it before you install Antivir or AVG.  The most common way is to run the Add / Remove Programs from the control panel. If this does not work you will need to download and run the Remove Norton Anti-virus.  Program link below.

 The Panda Cloud Antivirus has come out of Beta testing and is available for download. This particular antivirus is different than other real-time antivirus solutions because it is constantly connected to the Internet and updated on the fly.

The cloud reference simply means it is continuously checking their Internet database for new threats and offering this real-time protection to your PC. This is a great idea for zero-day exploits that take advantage of that narrow window of time between the discovery of a new virus and the updating of a users antivirus.

Panda Antivirus has been a great commercial program in the past and this free version looks very promising. It’s worth trying. As with any new antivirus installation, make sure you completely uninstall any current antivirus product you are running.
